All applicants are accepted on a first come, first-served basis.
Strings: completing 6th –12th grade in the spring of 2012 (or one year of music study)
Brass, woodwinds, percussion: completing 8th –12th grade in the spring of 2012 (or three years of music study).
Students are placed into one of three orchestras based on the seating audition on the opening day, June 17th.
Audition requirements:
1) Minimum one scale of your choice |
2) One solo piece best representing your ability |
3) Sight reading |
